SALUS (Building Control & Fire Safety Consultants) transitioned to employee ownership through the sale of the business to an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT).

Founded in 2002, SALUS has delivered more than 54,500 projects across England and Wales, building a strong reputation for innovation, collaboration and a shared commitment to a safer, more sustainable built environment. With an 80-strong team, the business is recognised for its people-led culture and technical expertise.

For shareholders Paul Meadows, Paul Morris and Stuart Power, an EOT was a natural, values-aligned succession route. The transition supports long-term independence, rewards the employees who have contributed to SALUS’ success, and provides a clear, structured approach to future ownership succession, whilst preserving the firm’s culture and purpose.

In a highly regulated environment, our Trustee support helps maintain strong governance standards, make decisions on the basis of clear documentation and keep employee beneficiaries properly informed. Business planning support is also on hand.
