Primacare Group

Primacare Group is a British manufacturer of specialist seating, predominantly supporting people with mobility difficulties. The group comprises Primacare Holdings Ltd (established in 2015) and two trading subsidiaries: Primacare Ltd (founded in 2004) and Prima Fabrications (acquired in 2011).

As part of a carefully considered succession strategy, the shareholders chose to transition the group to employee ownership through an Employee Ownership Trust. This enabled the shareholders to realise full value while securing a long-term legacy for the business, placing ownership in the hands of the employees who underpin its success.
