As part of a carefully planned succession strategy, shareholders Andrew Bacon, Louise Smith and Doug McGuigan transitioned the business to employee ownership through an Employee Ownership Trust. The EOT secures the long-term future of the company, protects its reputation for quality and service, and supports continued growth, whilst rewarding the commitment of its dedicated workforce.

As the business continues to develop, our Trustee support helps them to stay on top of strategic plans, governance and compliance, make decisions with confidence and maintain clear communication with employee beneficiaries.

The trust safeguards Fenland’s culture and commitment to customer excellence, with nearly 30 employees becoming beneficiaries of ownership.
