Steve Wing

Steve has had a long career as a chartered accountant, initially with Deloittes in London, but primarily in commerce as Finance Director of start up and early stage businesses and of subsidiaries of larger quoted UK companies. Many of the businesses were innovative and entrepreneurial; a number were private equity backed. Steve currently works as an independent trustee for employment ownership trusts.

More recently Steve has been working with SMEs on their planning and strategy, using his experience to guide and challenge management’s assumptions to help them to better resource their businesses. Steve enjoys the advisory roles, working with but outside the business, and only regrets not having always taken advantage of similar help whilst running them.

Steve is married with four children who have flown the nest. A sports nut, Steve’s footballing exploits are well behind him but he enjoys the more leisurely pursuits of the park run, swimming and golf. Steve is passionate about EOT’s and how to create Team driven businesses.
